What is Variopeptyl?
Variopeptyl 0.1 mg is a solution for subcutaneous injection, containing 0.1 mg/ 1 ml of Triptorelin acetate in a prefilled syringe.Triptorelin is a GnRH agonist.
Indications:
Variopeptyl 0.1 mg is indicated for down regulation and prevention of premature LH surge in women undergoing controlled ovarian hyper stimulation for assisted reproductive technology (ART). It is also used as confirmation test for Central Precocious Puberty in children.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to Triptorelin, GnRH, GnRH-agonist analogs, or any component of the formulation.

To prevent overstimulation, accurate monitoring of follicular growth in the luteal phase is recommended, especially in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome.

In women: hot flashes, vaginal dryness, decreased libido, menstrual cramps, painful intercourse, acne, hirsutism, breast pain and tenderness.
