Varian Farmed Research and Production Company was established in 2009 after years of university studies by a group of university professors with the aim of commercializing slow-release products. Since a project based on knowledge and the needs of the domestic market was strongly felt for these products, a new investment was injected by Safflower Pharmaceutical Investment Company in 2012 and the company’s products were launched on the market. With the restructuring of the company’s management in 2016 and focusing on research and development activities and sales and marketing of the company was able to be on the path of growth and development. The number of members of the organization from 19 people in 2016 has now reached more than two hundred people in direct labor and acts as a market leader in the group of slow release products. The site of Eshtehard factory was put into operation in 1400 in three sections of Hazard Slow Release, Ampoule and Prefield products. In previous years, the company has succeeded in exporting the product to Iran’s neighboring countries, and now there is a wide demand from different countries for export, which is in the process of registration and obtaining the required approvals from the competent authorities. After appreciating these efforts, Varian Pharmed Company in 1399 succeeded in receiving a plaque of appreciation for the knowledge-based company Bartar Export from the position of Vice President for Science and Technology.
